JINSHAN and Biosonda Unveiled OMOM RC at Semana Digestiva 2023

Semana Digestiva 2023, the largest digestive conference in Portugal, took place from June 14th to 16th in the historic city of Coimbra. This highly anticipated event, organized in collaboration with the Portuguese Society of Gastroenterology, the Portuguese Society of Digestive Endoscopy, and the Portuguese Association for Liver Research, brought together renowned gastroenterologists and healthcare professionals under the theme "Putting Digestive System Health at the Center." 

JINSHAN, in collaboration with Biosonda, left an indelible impression at the exhibition with their groundbreaking product, the OMOM RC Robotic Capsule Endoscopy System （OMOM RC）. The booth was a visual marvel, exuding a futuristic ambiance that perfectly complemented the advanced technology of the OMOM RC. This revolutionary device, powered by artificial intelligence, revolutionizes gastric examinations by streamlining the process and enhancing diagnostic accuracy. 

Its built-in AI algorithm enables a fully automated gastric examination in an average time of 12 minutes. However, it also offers a manual mode, allowing physicians to intervene and focus on specific areas during the examination. The device's high sensitivity in lesion detection automatically identifies eight major lesion types, reducing diagnostic time and the risk of misdiagnosis. It’s also a patient-friendly solution that allows patients to simply swallow the capsule and lie comfortably on the examination bed without the need for repositioning.

The introduction of the first OMOM RC in Portuguese hospitals marks a significant milestone, offering new possibilities for enhanced patient care and improved diagnostic outcomes.
